Mysore/Mysuru: A new grade separator will come up in Hootagalli Circle near Ring Road in city, said Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha.
“Detailed Project Report (DPR) is not yet prepared. Officials concerned have been asked to prepare DPR for the grade separator and the circle at the earliest. The proposed grade separator will come up near Hootagalli Circle,” Simha told media persons, after inspecting a slew of works yesterday.
As part of inspection, he visited various developmental works being taken up on NH 275 (Mysuru – Hunsur Highway). A circle will be constructed near Lingadevarakoppal Gate in Belawadi, he said. Later, he visited the spot near Grand Maurya Hotel where road widening work is proposed. He directed officials to take necessary measures.
Traffic congestion and vehicular movement has increased on NH-275 which connects Bantwal from Bengaluru through Mysuru and Madikeri. Grade separator and circles will be constructed in order to curb traffic congestion and the road widening works will be done for easy vehicular movement on the NH, said the MP.
