Bengaluru: With the Congress High Command contemplating replacement of KPCC Chief, the party is likely to announce the new appointee on May 28, according to sources.
The Congress party in-charge of Karnataka K.C. Venugopal, who recently undertook a three-day visit to Bengaluru along with four AICC Secretaries, is said to have submitted a report to the Party High Command. The Congress High Command is likely to announce the new KPCC President on May 28.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that senior Congress leader from North Karnataka S.R. Patil is the front-runner for the post.
