Mysore Race Club (MRC) held elections for the membership yesterday.
The Club has about 250 members and 202 of them voted, out of which three votes were declared invalid.
The candidates who won are: Anirudh Murthy Ranga (165 votes), A.V. Abhayananda C. Urs (121), Dr. M.V. Venu (118), Codanda K. Somanna (117), Ramanathan Nagappan (100), Sendhil Narayanan Alagappan (98) and K.N. Somaiah (96).
In all, fourteen candidates were in the fray for the seven vacancies in the Club.
