Mysore/Mysuru: The new office-bearers of SKAL International Mysore were elected at the Annual General Meeting which took place on Monday last at a city hotel.

C.A. Jayakumar assumed charge as President, M.L. Nagesh as Secretary, S.J. Ashok as Vice-President, Samarth Vaidya as Treasurer and Dhatri Bharadwaj as PR Director.

Addressing the gathering, Jayakumar, the newly elected President, emphasised the potential for tourism development in Mysuru, stating, “Mysuru is a beloved tourist destination, yet there is ample room for growth in the tourism sector. As President of SKAL, I am committed to actively fostering tourism development. We have devised plans to organise numerous programmes in collaboration with our office-bearers and members.”

Reflecting on his tenure, B.S. Prashanth, the immediate past President of SKAL International Mysore, expressed gratitude to his team for their support throughout his two-year tenure.

He reminisced about the successful SKAL India Congress held in Mysuru last year, hailing it as the flagship event during his presidency. Also in attendance were office-bearers from SKAL International Bangalore, including Sudipta Deb, Ayyappa Somaiah and Manimegalai, along with members of SKAL Mysore.
