Mysore/Mysuru: Young Indians (Yi), Mysuru Chapter, celebrated its annual session with the theme “Embracing Mysuru: A blend of innovation and progress (fitness and sports)” in city recently. The event aimed to emphasise their dedication to promoting holistic well-being, technological advancements and overall progress.

Abdul Hannan Khan, Chair of Accessibility Yi Mysuru and Director M.K. Agrotech underlined the significance of a healthy diet in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. “Diet is crucial for a healthy lifestyle,” he stated, highlighting the critical role nutrition plays in overall well-being.

Pragna Prasad, a distinguished sportswoman, provided valuable insights, stating, “There will always be important tasks besides maintaining health and fitness, but it’s crucial to prioritise health, no matter what.” Her words resonated with the audience, underscoring the importance of making personal health a priority.

Sudindar Bungale, Partner at Bharath Auto Spares and sports enthusiast, shared an inspiring perspective, saying, “Age is no bar when it comes to fitness; one should remain young at heart. I am the only Ironman from Mysuru above the age of 50 years; I guess that explains everything.” His example showcased the limitless possibilities of staying fit and active at any age.

The highlight of the session was an insightful panel discussion moderated by M.M. Nikhilesh, Founder of Kalisu Foundation, who said, “Embracing sports and fitness should be an integral part of our life, and it’s mandatory to balance it.” The discussion delved into the importance of incorporating physical activities into our daily routines.

Outgoing Chair of Yi Mysuru Chapter, Ankith Sonthalia reflected on his tenure as the best memories. Rahul SRS, the incoming Chair thanked members and panellists. Utsav Agarwal, National Chair Entrepreneurship and Mentor Yi Mysuru and MSME Panel Co-Convenor, CII Mysuru highlighted the collective strength and determination of the Yi Mysuru community.

The Yi Mysuru Chapter’s annual day saw participation of over 50 individuals, including Yi Members, CII Mysuru Members, and students. The session concluded with Eswara Rao, Vice- Chairman, CII Mysuru, releasing the Yi Mysuru Chapter Annual Report 2023. Eswara Rao emphasised the commitment of both CII Mysuru and Yi Mysuru.
