Mysuru: Advocate D.B. Rajashekarmurthy was elected as the President of JP Nagar Sports Club for the period 2026-28 during the elections held on June 14.
Rajashekarmurthy polled 164 votes to get elected as the President while Cheluvaiah was elected unopposed as Vice-President. Other office-bearers are: Secretary: C.D. Basavaraju (91 votes), Joint Secretary: U.S. Sadashiv (120 votes), Treasurer: B. Suresh (157 votes); Committee Members: Vatal B. Anand (141 votes), R. Shashikiran (136 votes), H.N. Manjunath (126 votes), K.S. Kumar (124 votes), M.B. Ramamurthy (120 votes), Vishwaradhya (115 votes), Kengegowda (104 votes), S. Ravi (94 votes), K. Manjunath Prasad (90 votes) and K.N. Srinivasaiah (86 votes).
