A spanking new swimming pool was inaugurated in the campus of Kautilya Vidyalaya on Sept.24 by Krishnaveni, Deputy Director, Department of Mines and Geology, Koppala, GoK, in the presence of Vidyalaya Chairman Kautilya R. Raghu, Senior Principal and Secretary Dr. L. Savitha and other dignitaries of the institution.
The pool measures 30’x50’, with depth varying from 2’ to 6’. Trained instructors are present to guide the students of Grades 1-10 to navigate through the pool while the little ones of kindergarten have an adjoining baby pool for their first steps, before taking the big plunge.
The school has ensured necessary precautions from the point of view of safety and hygiene. Though the pool is meant for the students of the institution, members of public may also make use of the pool during the non-working hours. Interested may contact Mob: 99000-38358 for details.
