The new office-bearers of Lions Club of Mysore East for the year 2018-19 led by Ln.Sagar Deshpande was installed by Ln. Nagaraj V. Bairy, First Vice-District Governor-Elect on June 17 at Hotel Rio Meridian. Addressing the gathering, Ln. Bairy said that more importance must be given for eye-related service project and asked the Club to concentrate on eye screening in schools and poverty alleviation. Ln. Sagar donated digital Smart Class materials to Government Schools and requested members  to pledge their eye with the Eye Bank. Ln. H.N. Ramathirtha, Ln. K.G. Ramanathan, Secretary and Ln. Srinivasamurthy, were present among others.
