Mysore/Mysuru: The following are the new office-bearers of Rotary Ivory City Mysuru. President Rtn. B. Harish and his team of Directors were installed by Past Asst. Governor, Rtn. H. R. Keshava on July 3. The team includes Rtn. S. Balachandar, Immediate Past President, Rtn. M. N. Ramesh, Vice-President, Rtn. Iftekhar Ahmed, President-Elect, Rtn. Dr. M. K. Sachidanandan, Hon. Secretary, Rtn. Pooja Baliga, Outgoing Secretary, Rtn. Babu Attar and Rtn. Poonam Harish, Joint Secretaries, Rtn. Ananth Nagaraj, Sergeant-at-Arms and Directors: Rtn. Shobha Nagaraj, Club Service, Rtn. Jyothi Mukesh, Vocational Service, Rtn. Shabana Iftekhar, Community Service, Rtn. M. Perumal, International Service, Rtn. Thein Perumal, Youth Service. 

Asst. Governor Rtn. Rohit Ramdev and Zonal Lieutenant Rtn. Dr. K. A. Prahlad were also present. On the occasion, Dr. G. L. Shekar, Dr. Sanmathi Nithyananda and Shubha Sanjay Urs were inducted as Honorary Members of the club for their contributions to the society in improving the lives of women and children.

A unique project “Toy Bank” was launched to collect unused toys from houses and distribute the same to underprivileged children of the society in order to bring a smile on their faces.
