Mysore/Mysuru: Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), Mysuru Chapter, is one among the 51 Chapters under the aegis of Indian Society for Training and Development, New Delhi, the recognised body for conducting the training programme for Government, Public and Private Organisations and Enterprises. 

ISTD is the forum for professional trainers and educators involved in skill development. 

ISTD is affiliated to the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO), USA and Asian Regional Training and Development Organisations (ARTDO), Manila. 

To respond to the new normal, the new Management Committee (MC) was constituted for this term in the election process recently conducted online by Returning Officer Dr. T. Narayanaswamy. 

The new MC team includes: S. Sendil Kumar, Chairman; Dr. M.V. Sunil, Vice-Chairman; Rajiv G.P. Sarathy, Secretary; M.J. Rashmi,Treasurer. The members of the Committee include Founder Chairperson of the Chapter Dr. Mousumi Sengupta, Dr. Aparna Verma, C.M. Vidya, Bharath Srinivasa, Zeeshan Mohammed, Ajay Kamath and Kunal Manakchand. 

ISTD Mysuru Chapter is a recognised ‘Diploma Centre’ for conducting the 18-month distance learning Diploma in Training and Development. The programme is also approved by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, according to a press rlease from  Rajiv Sarathy, Secretary [Mob: 94493 58518].
