Akshara Kumar, Marketing Director of Truly Essential, has taken over as Chairperson of Young Indians (Yi), Mysuru, for 2017-2018 while D. Ravi Shankar has been elected as Co-Chair of Yi, Mysuru at its Annual Day held recently at Nityotsava.
Akshara Kumar, an Entrepreneur by profession, holds an Engineering degree from GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women.
Ravi Shankar, proprietor of Orange Media, completed his MBA (Executive) from Magnus School of Business and Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Basudev Somani college.
On the occasion, Vikram Muthanna, Managing Editor, Star of Mysore, released Yi Mysore’s coffee-table book 2016-17.
Dr. N. Muthukumar, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Mysuru; Arjun Ranga, Chairman, CII Mysuru and Yi Regional Chair Bharath Lokkur were the chief guests. Ramya Bopanna, Past Chairperson of Yi, was also present.
