Mysuru: Basaveshwara Krupaposhita Nataka Mandali in association with the Department of Kannada and Culture has organised a night-long mythological play Kurukshetra tomorrow commencing at 8 pm at Basavanagudi Circle, Bhyraveshwaranagar in Hebbal 1st stage here.
The play was scheduled to be staged on July 22 coinciding with Chamundeshwari Festival but was postponed owing to rain.
MLA Nagendra will inaugurate the programme. MLA S.A. Ramdas Corporator Srinivas, Congress leader Harish Gowda, BJP leader Mallappa Gowda, ACP (Traffic) G.N. Mohan, Hotel Owners Association President C. Narayana Gowda and B.S. Prashanth of Safe Wheels would be the guests.
Krishnegowda would portray the role of Krishna, A.C. Ravi as Duryodhana, Nirmala as Kunthi and Gandhari, Chikkarekha as Draupadi, according to Hebbal Chamundeshwari Kala Sangha President A.C. Ravi.
