Mysore/Mysuru: Ranjani Memorial Trust, Udupi, is organising Ninaada Griha Sangeeth monthly bhaitak programmes at ‘Ninaada’ in Kergalli, Mysuru, since December 2022.
As part of this series, the Trust is organising the May month Bhaitak programme (Hindustani Vocal Concert) by Aniruddh Aithal from Bengaluru on May 27 at 6 pm at Ninaada, Rishabh Siddhi Layout, Kergalli.
He will be accompanied on tabla by Sumit Naik and on harmonium by Tejas Katoti.
Profile: Aniruddh Aithal is a 24-year-old Hindustani classical musician, vocal music being his area of expertise. From a very young age, Aniruddh was always exposed to classical music, primarily because of his parents who are avid listeners of classical music.
He formally started learning at the age of 10 from Geetha Garud Prithviraj. After 8 years of rigorous training, with the gracious blessings of his Guru, Aniruddh is now receiving training from Dr. Ashok Huggannavar.
He has received many prizes at both the State and National level. Aniruddh won the extremely prestigious All India Radio (AIR) National-level Competition in the year 2017. He has been recently graded “A” by AIR. He has also won numerous medals at a University level for his college at Youth Festivals held every year. He is also the recipient of scholarships given by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), New Delhi and the Karnataka Sangeetha Nruthya Academy.
Apart from classical music taleem, Aniruddh has been fortunate enough to receive training in rare Rangageethes (theatre songs), Dasarapadas, Vachanas and Tatvapadas from his Gurus.
