Ningajamma (68), a resident of Bekkare village in the taluk, passed away on Friday night at her residence.
She leaves behind her husband Somanna, sons B.S. Nanjundaswamy, Director of PLD Bank and B.S. Mahadev, a teacher and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the family’s farm land yesterday, according to family sources.
