NIRF-2021: 139th Rank to PESCE

PES College of Engineering (PESCE), Mandya, has secured 139th Rank at National-level in Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)-2021 among Engineering institutions as announced by Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan on Sept.9, 2021. The College had secured 147th Rank in NIRF-2020, 161st in NIRF-2019 and improved the ranking position by 8 places to 139th in NIRF-2021.

NIRF parameters cover Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research & Professional Practices, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach & Inclusivity and Perception. Out of nearly 10,000 Engineering institutions in India, about 1,100 institutions participated in NIRF-2021. Out of it, only top 200 institutions are listed by the Ministry under NIRF.

“It is happy to note that, out of 200 rankings, 19 Colleges from Karnataka (21 in NIRF-2020) are listed and in that PESCE stands in 11th place (from 17th in NIRF-2020),” says a press release from College Principal Dr. R.M. Mahalinge Gowda.
