Mysore/Mysuru: ‘There is no limit for acquiring knowledge,’ said DCP (Law and Order) M. Muthuraj.
He was speaking after releasing the ‘Banking Exam Study Book’ at the valedictory of the 50-day coaching camp for Bank recruitment exam organised by the Competitive Exams Coaching Centre of KSOU at KSOU campus in Muktagangothri along Hunsur Road here recently.
Stressing on the need to have concentration, dedication and determination for achieving success in competitive exams, Muthuraj said that the aspirants need not be disheartened if they fail in the first attempt as there is always more chances or opportunities in the future.
Recalling that he got his Master’s degree in Kannada from KSOU, the DCP said that students should not draw a limit for learning as it is a continuous process.
Noting that most of the rural candidates do not get the right facility for preparing for competitive exams, he said that the KSOU has come to their rescue by organising timely and affordable coaching classes.
He wished the candidates all success in the exam.
State Bank of India Regional Manager R. Satish, in his address, said that candidates must first look for opportunities no matter where they are available as it is important for their career.
Pointing out that the next step is preparation, he said that constant learning is key for achieving success in competitive exams. Noting that the Banking sector is different from that of others, he lauded the KSOU centre for conducting coaching class for competitive exams, which is of huge benefit to candidates in search of jobs.
KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sharanappa V. Halse said that everyone should adopt the principle of ‘Work is Worship.’ He called upon the candidates for regularly updating their knowledge as it plays a crucial role for achieving success in exams.
KSOU Registrar Prof. K.L.N. Murthy, Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. K.B. Praveen, Finance Officer Dr. A. Khader Pasha, the Centre Dean Prof. Ramanatham Naidu, Co-ordinator Jainahalli Satyanarayanagowda, Ganesh Koppal, Siddesh Honnur and others were present.
