No public entry for Navarathri Puja inside Palace: Pramoda Devi

Mysore/Mysuru: As a COVID-19 precautionary and safety measure, the members of the public will not be allowed to gather for Navarathri Puja celebrations inside the Mysore Palace during this year’s Dasara.

In a press release, member of the erstwhile Royal family Pramoda Devi Wadiyar said that traditional and customary pujas and rituals associated with Dasara will be performed as usual in the Palace. However, there will be no entry for public and the rituals will be conducted only in the presence of Royal family members. This is being done as a safety measure to check the spread of the deadly virus, the release added.
