Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, Professor and Head, Department of Telecommunication Engineering, GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, has been nominated as Chair-Elect, for IEEE Mysore Subsection, by Keshav Bapat, IEEE Bangalore Section State Nomination Committee Chair, during the inaugural Function of IEEE Mysore Subsection recently.
IEEE Mysore Subsection was inaugurated by Susan K. Land, IEEE President USA 2021 in the presence of Prof. Akinori Nishihara, Director, IEEE Region 10, Maike Luiken, IEEE Vice-President, MGA 2021, Prof. S.N. Singh, Chair-IEEE India Council, Dr. K. Ramakrishna, MGA Chair, MELCC & Vice-Chair, Member Development, Puneet Kumar Mishra, Chair, IEEE Bangalore Section, Dr. Supavadee Aramvith, IEEE R10-Section and Chapter Coordinator, Dr. K.R. Suresh Nair, IEEE India Council, Chair-Elect 2020, Dr. Debabrata Das, IEEE India Council, Chair-Elect 2021.
Dr. Parameshachari is currently serving as Secretary for IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society, Bangalore Chapter and a Distinguished Speaker of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) which is one of the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society.
