Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Renu Agrawal, former Chief Scientist and Rural Programme Co-ordinator from Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, has been nominated as a Jury Member in the Selection Committee of I-Women Global Awards ceremony to be held in September, 2020. She will be judging under “Science and Innovation”, with the theme “Care for Farmers.” 

It is an International programme designed to recognise women who have left an indelible mark and created a deep social impact through exceptional work. The candidates are participating from 25 countries. 

Dr. Renu is presently a member in many National Advisory Committees to the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and also with the Government of Karnataka for  Sustainable Development Goals. Karamveer Chakra Dr. Renu is the recipient of Abdul Kalam Life Time Achievement Award among others.
