N.S. Subramanya, PE Director of Onkarmal Somani B.Ed College, Mysuru and Technical Committee Member of Throwball Federation of India, has been recently nominated as the Technical Committee Member of Asian Throwball Federation. He was selected at a higher-level meeting of the Asian Throwball Federation held in Bengaluru.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Throwball Federations of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Maldives, Nepal, UAE, Malaysia, Philippines and India. Subramanya, who represented India, was felicitated on the occasion after being nominated to the Technical Committee. Subramanya is the nephew of late film director G.V. Iyer of Nanjangud.
