The Department of Information and Public Relations has invited nominations for TSR, Mohare Hanamantharaya, Eco-journalism and Development Journalism awards.
TSR award is presented in memory of Senior Kannada Journalist T.S. Ramachandra Rao carrying a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh for a journalist who has put in a minimum of 30 years in print or electronic media.
Mohare Hanamantharaya award is presented to a journalist with 30 years experience in Kannada journalism and also carries a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh.
A cash prize of Rs. 50,000 each is presented to Eco-Journalism and Development Journalism awardees who should have an experience of 10 years in the corresponding field.
Nominations can be sent by media houses, associations and individuals with full personal details along with relevant documents to the Director, Department of Informations and Public Relations, Vartha Soudha, 17, Bhagwan Mahaveer Road, Bengaluru-560 001 before March 25.
