Non-functioning traffic signals on JLB Road

September 17, 2024

Sir,

I wish to bring to your attention the malfunctioning traffic signals at key intersections in the heart of our city. Specifically, the signals near Yuvaraja’s College Junction on JLB Road have been out of order for weeks, causing severe traffic congestion and posing significant safety risks for both pedestrians and motorists.

This issue is creating confusion among drivers, especially during peak hours, and increasing the risk of accidents. Despite several complaints to the authorities concerned, no concrete action has been taken.

As Dasara is fast approaching, I urge the responsible authorities to take immediate corrective measures. A prompt intervention will help restore smooth traffic flow and ensure public safety.
