Non-implementation of A.J. Sadashiva Commission Report

1,000 Madiga Community members to stage nude protest in Bengaluru

Mysuru: Members of Madiga Rakshana Mahasabha would stage a nude protest in front of Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru if the Government fails to implement Justice A.T. Sadashiva Commission Report within the next three months.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, Mahasabha State President J.C. Ithihas said that the report for the benefit of Madiga Community was submitted to the Government five years ago but is yet to be implemented and the Government is just doling out assurances.

He added that when Siddharamaiah was the Opposition Leader, he had assured at the Madiga Convention in Chitradugra that he would implement  the  Internal Reservation Policy when he becomes the Chief Minister.

Continuing, Ithihas said that despite protests, nothing has transpired so far and added that over 1,000 members of the community representing a strength of 60 lakh would protest nude and lay siege to Vidhana Soudha if nothing transpires within   three months.

Mahasabha State Honorary President C. Mahadevaiah Vice-President Kalaiah and others were present at the press meet.
