Non payment of loan amount by woman; man seeks euthanasia

Mysore/Mysuru: A man, alleging that a woman, who had taken loan from him, has not returned the same, has written a letter to the City Police Commissioner seeking permission for euthanasia (mercy death).

The man, who has sought the permission for euthanasia is 58-year-old G.K. Gurubasavarajaiah, a resident of Ramakrishnanagae E&F Block in city.

In his letter, he has stated that one Lakshmi had taken a loan of Rs. 50,000 from him and had given a cheque for the same. When she did not return the money, he lodged a complaint against the woman with the Police following one Chiranjeevi, who came to the Police Station, said that his aunty (a  relative) Lakshmi, had given his cheque for the loan and he would repay the loan amount in two months besides giving him another cheque. As the loan is not cleared, he has sought permission for euthanasia.
