‘Noopurotsava-2023’ held

Nrityagiri Director Dr. Kripa Phadke inaugurated the 3-day ‘Noopurotsava-2023’ dance festival at Ganabharathi’s Ramagovinda Kalavedike in Kuvempunagar here  recently, organised under the aegis of Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust and Kannada & Culture Department. On Day-1, Shikha Madhur of Bengaluru, disciple of Chethana and Hari, presented Kathak while disciples of Nadavidyalaya Academy Director Guru Vidu. Mithra Naveen gave a Bharatanatyam recital.

On Day-2, Vid. K.R. Vishwadeep, son and disciple of Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust Director Natyacharya Guru Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao, presented Bharatanatyam recital while disciples of Vid. Sridhar Jain of ‘Apthamitra’ fame and Founder of Sri Nimishamba School of Dance, Mysuru, presented ‘Nrutya Vaibhava.’

On Day-3, the disciples of Vidu. Mamatha G. Nadiger of Shree Marthanda Nrutya Mattu Sangeeta Kala Samsthe, Ranebennuru, gave a Bharatanatyam performance while disciples of Vidu. Jyothi Hegde of Lasyaranjana Nrutya Shale presented a Bharatanatyam recital.
