‘Noopurotsava’ in city from July 11

Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust and Kannada and Culture Department have jointly organised three-day ‘Noopurotsava – 2022’ dance festival at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar in city from July 11 to July 13.

On July 11 from 6 pm to 6.45 pm, students of Bharathanjali Nritya Shala Director Dr. Sheela Sridhar will present a Bharatanatyam recital. From 6.45 pm to 7.30 pm, Vidu. Seema Kulkarni, Director of Saketh School of Dance, Dharwad and troupe will present a Bharatanatyam recital while Vid. Vishwadeep, son and disciple of Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust Director Guru Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao will present a Bharatanatyam recital from 7.30 pm to 8.15 pm.

On July 12, students of Nandana Performing Arts Centre Director Vidu. M.L. Varija Nalige will give a Bharatanatyam programme from 6 pm to 6.45 pm. Sowmya Nrutya Shale Director Vidu. Sowmya Rani’s disciples will present a Bharatanatyam recital from 6.45 pm to 7.30 pm following which students of Dr. Kripa Phadke, Director of Nrityagiri Academy of Performing Arts and Research Centre, will present a Bharatanatyam programme from 7.30 pm to 8.15 pm.

On July 13, students of Sri Nataraja Performing Arts Centre, Director Vidu. Nagashree Phaneendra Kumar will present a Bharatanatyam recital between 6 pm and 6.45 pm following which disciples of Nritya Vidya Peeta, Mysuru, Director C.N. Anita will give a Bharatanatyam performance from 6.45 pm to 7.30 pm. Later, Bhushans’ Academy of Performing Arts and Visual Presentation, Director Vid. Badari Divya Bhushan and troupe will present a dance performance from 7.30 pm to 8.15 pm, according to a press release from the organisers.
