Mysore/Mysuru: Marking World Theatre Day, Abhiruchi Balaga in association with Asakthi Prakashana has organised the birth centenary celebrations of noted theatre artiste and director N.S. Vaman tomorrow (Mar. 27) and Mar. 28 in Mysuru.

Addressing a press conference at Pathrakarthara Bhavana here yesterday, Vaman’s son and Balaga President N.V. Ramesh said, senior writer C.P. Krishnakumar will be inaugurating the birth centenary programme tomorrow at 10 am at Suruchi Rangamane in Kuvempunagar.

Writer Prof. K. Bhyravamurthy will release the book ‘Trivikramanada Vamana.’ Kannada    Development Authority Member Dr. Gubbigudu Ramesh will be the chief guest. 

Former President of District Kannada Sahitya Parishat Maddikere Gopal will preside. 

Kavigoshti followed by cultural programme and Rasamanjari will be held at 2.30 pm on Mar. 28.
