Mysore/Mysuru: Passengers at the Mysore Airport in Mandakalli can now access complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, following its virtual inauguration yesterday by Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu.
The launch was part of a nationwide initiative held from Coimbatore International Airport, where several passenger-friendly facilities were rolled out across regional airports. The new Wi-Fi service is aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, allowing travellers to complete digital boarding formalities, access online travel services and stay connected with family and colleagues at terminal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister reiterated the Centre’s commitment to strengthening regional air connectivity and improving overall passenger experience.
Officials of the Airports Authority of India and other stakeholders were present at the inauguration ceremony in Coimbatore. The Wi-Fi facility at the Mysore Airport is now operational and available to passengers, according to a press release from Airport Director P.V. Ushakumari.
