NR Group, makers of Cycle Pure Agarbathies, is all set to host its annual Open Golf Championship for the year, commencing from today.
Titled as ‘NR Open Golf Championship,’ the State-level event is organised at Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club, Mysuru, on Nov.30 and Dec.1.
Arjun Ranga, Managing Partner, NR Group, inaugurated the Tournament by teeing off this morning. Present from JWGC were C.S. Ravishankar, President, JWGC, H.D. Thimmappa Gowda, Hon. Secretary, H.S. Arun Kumar, Capitan, JWGC, Dr. S.L. Narayan, Hon. Treasurer, JWGC, N. Parameshwar, Chairman, Tournament Sub-Committee, A. Anantha and others.
The NR Open Golf Championship is an open invitation event for golf enthusiasts. More than 220 golfers mainly from Mysuru, Bengaluru, Coorg, Chikamagalur, Ooty and Kodaikanal will be participating in this two-day event.
This year, the participants of this prestigious Championship will compete in 16 categories, which includes: Stroke Play Gross; Stableford Gross; Stroke Play Net [Handicap 0 To 12]; Stroke Play Net [Handicap 13 To 18]; Stableford Net [Handicap 0 To 18]; Stableford Net – Seniors [Handicap 0 To 24]; Stableford Net – Juniors [Handicap 0 To 24]; Stableford Net – Ladies [Handicap 0 To 24]; Super Senior – [Handicap 0 To 24]; Match Play Gross Singles; Match Play Net Singles; Match Play Net Doubles; Match Play Senior Singles; Nearest To Pin; Longest Drive and Straightest Drive.
