Nritya Namana in city tomorrow

Mysuru, Mar.8- Nrityagiri Performing Arts & Research Centre is hosting ‘Nritya Namana’ at Ganabharathi in Kuvempunagar here on Mar.9 (Friday) at 6.30 pm. The programme includes:

6.30 pm: Bharatanatyam by Vidu. Panchami Phadke.

7.30  pm: Ramayana Darshanam, a dance ballet by senior students of Nrityagiri — Vidu. G. Amruta, S.C. Kathyayini, Vidu. Vismitha, Suraksha, Tanuja Hedge, N.S. Akshatha, Ashika Rajan, Pooja sugam, Tejashree Murthy, N.S. Lakshmi; Musical ensemble —Nattuvanga – Vidu. Dr. Kripa Phadke, Vocal – Vidu. Deepu Nair, Mridanga – Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy, Flute – Vid. A.P. Krishna Prasad.

Panchami D. Phadke: Daughter of Divakara Phadke and Shaila Phadke, hailing from Belthangadi, South Canara, Panchami Phadke is a promising young artiste of Nrityagiri.

She is a bonafide student of revered educational institutions like Balodhyana Central School, Kendriya Vidyalaya and SDM College, Mysuru. She is presently studying in the final year of MBA at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.

Panchami completed Vidwat in the year 2015 and Bharatanatya Ranagpravesham in the year 2016 under the guidance of Guru Vidu. Dr. Kripa Phadke.

She has actively participated in all the successful presentations of Nrityagiri. She received training from Vidu. Bhagyalakshmi in classical music and Dwarakanath in yoga.
