July 27, 2024

New Delhi/ Bengaluru: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the final results of the NEET-UG exam-2024, which had run into controversy over paper leak and improper rankings, on Friday.

The NTA published the results following a Supreme Court order and taking into consideration the marks secured by students in respect of a specific Physics question, which had two right answers.

As per the results announced following the revised marks list, there are only 17 toppers in NEET-UG exam. In the earlier result, there were 61 toppers. But the revised result has seen only 17 toppers, with 44 students losing their top ranks.

The revised list also saw 201 students of Karnataka losing their eligibility for admission to Medical Colleges. According to the earlier results, 89,088 students from the State had gained eligibility. But in the revised list, only 88,887 students have secured eligibility, with Padmanabha Menon topping the State in the Rankings by bagging the 21st All India rank.
