Top-seed Jason M. David and second-seeded local lad Mustafa M. Raja registered easy wins over their respective rivals in the boys U-12 second round and sailed into the pre-quarterfinals, on the opening day of the NTC-NR Cup 2017 AITA U-12 Talent Series Tennis Tournament (boys & girls), played at the Nagaraj Tennis Centre’s Courts at SJCE Complex here yesterday.
Earlier in the day, the tournament was inaugurated by Pavan Ranga, Director, NR Group, Mysuru. R. Nagaraj, Coach and Director of Nagaraj Tennis Centre and the players were present on the occasion at the NTC Grounds in SJCE premises.
