Tamil Nadu’s V. Rakshak Tarun and city’s Aadya M. Bhat hogged the limelight by clinching the boys & girls U-12 singles titles on the concluding day of NTC-NR Cup AITA U-12 Championship Series (boys & girls) Tennis Tournament conducted by Nagaraj Tennis Centre at SJCE Courts here yesterday.
Rakshak Tarun (TN) playing an attacking baseline game scored a well earned win over Saravan Somasi (Kar) 7-5, 6-3 and won the coveted boys U-12 singles title.
In the U12 girls singles, Mysuru’s Aadya M. Bhat beat Anjana Krishnamurthy (KAR) 7-6 (4), 6-4 and clinched the title.
