An adventure sports tour in Channapatna was organised for the students of Nypunya School of Excellence, R.T. Nagar and Dattagalli, recently. Dr. Gururaj Sridhara, Principal of Nypunya PU College, launched the event. Children enthusiastically participated in the adventure sports organised at the Revanasiddeshwara Hill on Kanakapura Road in Channapatna taluk. They climbed high rocks with the help of safety equipment under the guidance of expert trainers and participated in activities such as trekking, ziplining, kayaking and sky cycling. National Adventure Foundation Director Rukmini Chandran guided the students. School teachers Lokesh, L. Kavya, Venkatachala and Ponnanna participated in the tour along with the students and provided guidance. The hill is situated 3,066 feet above sea level at Avverahalli, 15-km from Ramanagara.
