Officials review facilities in Chamundeshwari Assembly Constituency Polling Booths

Mysore/Mysuru: With the Assembly polls just a month away, Assistant Commissioner Kamala Bai, who is also the Chamundeshwari Constituency Electoral Officer, held a review meeting on the facilities available at polling booths of the Constituency, at the Taluk office here recently.

Addressing the officials, Kamala Bai said that there are 337 Booths in Chamundeshwari Constituency, out of which 64 come under the MCC. Pointing out that the rest of 273 Constituencies come under the limits of Hootagalli CMC, Bogadi, Kadakola, Rammanahalli and Srirampura Town Panchayats and Gram Panchayats, she said that officials must ensure that there are drinking water facility, well-maintained  toilets, a ramp facility, a sound roof, proper power points and connections and other necessary amenities in each Polling Booth. She also directed the officials to take necessary measures in case there are any shortcomings in the Polling Booths.

Taluk Panchayat (TP) Executive Officer (EO) Girish, Officials of Hootagalli CMC and the four town Panchayats, Gram Panchayat (GP) PDOs and other personnel took part.
