One booked for bid to sell rented car

Mysuru: Metagalli Police have registered a case against a man on charges of attempting to sell a car which he had taken on rent.

The accused has been identified as N.P. Pradeep, a resident of Kallur Naganahalli village, Yelwal hobli in the taluk while the car owner, who has lodged a complaint is S. Varun, a resident of Hebbal in city.

In his complaint, Varun has stated that he had given his Innova Crysta (KA-05-AH-7489), which he had bought for  Rs. 13.50 lakh, to Pradeep on rent. Varun alleged that Pradeep, who forged his signature on Form-29 and 30, got the vehicle transferred to his name, obtained a loan on the car besides attempting to sell the car to someone.

Varun, in his complaint, has urged the Police to take action against Pradeep and get back his vehicle.

Metagalli Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
