Mandi Police, on Thursday morning, have arrested a person who was waiting to burgle a house and have seized an iron rod from him.

The arrested person has been identified as 56-year-old Shankar,  a resident of Yashwant Nagar. Mandi Police personnel, who were on their regular beat on Thursday morning, saw Shankar with an iron rod on the road behind a bar in Bamboo Bazaar waiting to burgle a house and took him into custody and has been remanded to judicial custody.
