One-week FDP on ‘Network Simulator’ at NIE-IT from Jan.22

Mysuru:  The Departments of Computer Science and Engineering & Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIE-IT, Mysuru, are jointly organising a one-week Faculty Development Programme on “Network Simulator 2 (NS2) & ARM CORTEX M3” from Jan.22 to 28.

The objective of this Faculty Development Program is to accord in-depth knowledge on Network Simulator2 and interfacing concepts of ARM CORTEX M3 with Hands-On Sessions. Network Simulator provides substantial support for simulation of TCP, routing, and multicast protocols over wired and wireless networks. ARM CORTEX M3 helps to interface the devices to micro-controllers, used for developing high-performance, low-cost platforms for a broad range of devices.

Prof. T. Ananthapadmanabha, Principal, NIE-IT,  will preside. Dr. P. Sandhya, Special Officer, VTU e-learning Centre, Mysuru, will be the chief guest.

Lovee Jain and S.V. Harish are the Convenors. Dr. N.V. Archana, Head, Dept. of ECE and M.S. Usha, Head, Dept. of CSE, NIE-IT, are the coordinators.
