Online Flute Concert by Vid. L.V. Mukund on Aug. 29

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha’s ongoing weekly online music concerts, a flute recital by Vidwan L.V.Mukund will be premiered in their YouTube channel on Saturday (Aug. 29) at 5 pm.  

Initially groomed by his mother and Prapancham Balachandran, Mukund is one of the prominent disciples of Padma Bhushana  Dr. N. Ramani.  

Being a popular and promising young flutist, he is also a recipient of ‘Ganakalashree’, ‘Sur Manu’ and ‘Ananya Yuva Puraskar’ awards.  

He will be accompanied by eminent and senior artistes, Vidushi Charulatha Ramanujam on violin, Vidwan H.S. Sudhindra on mridanga and Vidwan Giridhar Udupa on ghata.
