Mysore/Mysuru: Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Industries are picking up after COVID-19 greatly hindered the sector. MSME sector is suffering immensely due to lack of orders. Leading to minimum utilisation of installed capacities, there by increased overhead expenses turning them towards NPA (Non-Performing Asset).
To over come, to some extent, an Online B2B (Business to Business) and Business to Consumer Portal has been proposed which will assist the entrepreneurs by giving them global marketing exposure. This portal will connect manufacture to manufacturer and directly to the consumer as well.
Mysore Industries Association (MIA), Mysore District Small Scale Industries Association (MDSSIA), Hebbal Industrial Estate Manufacturer’s Association (HIEMA) and MSMEs Council have jointly organised a programme at The Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road in city on June 6 at 5 pm for the launch of the Online Portal to promote industrial products of Mysuru region and felicitate Best Industrial Awardees.
MLA L. Nagendra will inaugurate the online portal. MLC C.N. Manjegowda, former MLA and MIA President Vasu, IMS Foundation Chairman H.V.S. Krishna and LUB Mysuru Zone President Dr. M. Mahesh Shenoy will felicitate Best Industrial Awardee of Laghu Udyog Bharathi (LUB), Entell Cad Engineering CEO N. Sathish and NITI Aayog’s Women Transforming India Awardee and Founder & Managing Partner of Nectar Fresh & Naman Chayaa Nanjappa.
MDSSIA President A.S. Satish will preside over the programme.
HIEMA President Jayanth, MSMEC President Ravi Koti and KASSIA former Joint Secretary Manjunath will be present.
General Secretaries Satyendra, C.M. Subramanian and Suresh Kumar Jain will co-ordinate the programme.
