Mysore/Mysuru: A saxophone concert by Vid. Harish Pandav will be premièred under the weekly online concert series of Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha, Mysuru on its YouTube channel at 5 pm tomorrow (Oct. 10)
Vid. Harish Pandav is an upcoming young Karnatak classical musician from Mysuru, who has performed on various reputed sabhas in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kakinada and in almost all sabhas of Mysuru. He has done his Master’s in Music from Dr. Gangubai Hanagal Music University, Mysuru, with a gold medal and also holds a Master’s in Economics from UoM.
Initially he was groomed by his uncles Vid. N. Jayaram and Vid. H. A. Nagaraj Pandav. Currently he is training under Vidushi Gayathri Sathyanarayana. He is a trained vocalist as well.
Harish is a B-High grade saxophone artiste of AIR and has been honoured with Sushameendra Kala Puraskar, District Rajyotsava award, Dasara Exhibition award etc.
City’s young talents, Vid. Keshav Mohankumar, Vid. Pavan Madhav Masoor and Vid. Shamith S. Gowda will support him on violin, mridanga and ghata respectively, in this concert.
