Mysore/Mysuru: Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) will be organising ‘Open Day-2024’ at its campus in Gokulam 3rd Stage tomorrow.
Addressing media persons at the Pathrakartara Bhavan here this morning, Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE, said that the event would be inaugurated by Infosys Associate Vice-President K.S. Sundar at 10.30 am at the college campus.
Intel Corporation (Bengaluru) Design Engineer Ravindra Venkatesh and CET Cell Expert Udayshankar will be present.
The event is aimed at creating an opportunity for students and parents to explore the types of projects done in various engineering domains and interact with experts to understand various engineering branches and job opportunities, said Dr. Sadashive Gowda.
Project Exhibition, Interaction with a CET Cell expert and career guidance for all PUC students and their parents will be organised for students and parents to find answers and clear their confusions pertaining to the choice of the right engineering course after Class II.
The college has provided free bus service from City Bus Stand, Sub-urban Bus Stand and Railway Station for students and parents attending the event.
VVCE Associate Professors Dr. H.S. Madhusudhan and Dr. Arun C. Dixit were present.
