Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), is hosting an Open Day on June 3 at its campus in the city, said JSS STU Registrar Dr. S. A. Dhanraj.
Addressing media persons at Patrakarthara Bhavana in the city on Wednesday, he said ‘As part of Diamond Jubilee celebrations of SJCE, the Open Day has been organised on June 3 from 10 am to 6 pm. The event will showcase diversified and innovative engineering, science and management programmes offered at the institution.’
The general public can visit various Departments and get hands-on information on project works, research works, industry and institution collaborations, entrepreneurship avenues and societal contributions.
Various competitions have been organised for High School, PU and Degree students on following themes: 1. Sustainability – Energy, Health and Environment, 2. Innovation – Waste to Wealth, 3. Internet – Hacking and Cybercrime, 4. Manufacturing – Robotics and E-mobility, 5. Agriculture – Modern Tools and Techniques, 6. Societal Outreach – Technological Solutions. The winners will be given attractive prizes, added Dr. Dhanraj.
