Two scooters, three mobile phones worth Rs.1.18 lakh recovered

Mysuru: Ashokapuram Police, while conducting Operation Fast Track on Hunusemara Road in Srirampura 2nd Stage on June 4, took into custody a person on a Honda Activa scooter, who was moving in a suspicious manner for questioning.

During interrogation, the man, identified as 24-year-old Prasanna of Nellur Pala in Hunsur, informed the Cops that he had stolen two-wheelers and mobile phones in Ashokapuram Police limits, following which the Police arrested him.

Based on the information provided by accused Prasanna, the Police have recovered one Honda Activa and one Suzuki Swish scooters, one Moto G, one Honor and one Samsung mobile phones, all worth about Rs.1.18 lakh, from him.

DCP M. Muthuraj and K.R. Sub-Division ACP Gopalakrishna T. Nayak supervised KR Inspector Ananthapadmanabha and staff Mahadevaiah, Anand, Raghavendra, Girish, Shivaprakash, Raju and Jagadish, in the nabbing and recovery operation.
