The Orchids Public School, Kumarabeedu, Mysuru, will be hosting an Inter-School Drama Competition titled ‘The Epic Thespians – The Celebration of Theatre’ at its premises on Aug. 28 between 9.30 am and 3 pm. Each team will present a 20-25 minute drama based on works by foreign authors, including The Dear Departed, Julius Caesar, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, The Ides of March and Pygmalion. The event promises an engaging celebration of theatre, literature and young talent.
The programme will be inaugurated by Reginald Wesley, Hon. Secretary of Mysore Literary Association. Prof. K.C. Belliappa, President of Mysore Literary Association, will be the chief guest for valedictory function. For more details, contact Mob: 99024-34827.
