‘Organise Food Mela at Yuva Dasara venue’

Mysuru: As the city gears up for this year’s ‘Yuva Dasara’ to be held at the 100-acre land near Uttanahalli in city outskirts, the demand to organise Food Mela at the venue has also witnessed steady growth.

In a press release, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Secretary Varuna Mahesh has urged the authorities to organise Food Mela at ‘Yuva Dasara’ venue for the benefit of both vendors and the spectators including the tourists. “People are seen going in search of food after the event. Organising Food Mela will not only help the visitors but also vendors and local food manufacturers,” he said.

Mahesh also urged the District Minister and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) to initiate measures to organise Food Mela at the ‘Yuva Dasara’ venue at the earliest.
