Orphan Pension handed over to children of COVID dead parents

Mysore/Mysuru: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office, Mysuru, has handed over Orphan Pension to two children, whose parents died of COVID recently.

Following the directions from ACC (HQ) Bengaluru, EPFO Regional Office Mysuru co-ordinated with the District Administration and obtained the details of children who lost both the parents and later co-ordinated with the guardian of the children and the employer of the establishment to help them file the claims.

The Orphan Pensions were handed over to the children on June 30 and the children will now receive Rs. 2,176/- each per month, according to the    press release.
