Mysore/Mysuru: The 5-day Inter-State Bridge Championship-2025, jointly organised by Karnataka State Bridge Association and Mysore Bridge Association at Mysore Race Club (MRC), was inaugurated by member of the erstwhile Mysore Royal Family Pramoda Devi Wadiyar yesterday.

Around 220 players across the country are taking part in the Championship. Bridge game is played using playing cards, which helps in mental development besides helping students score more marks in mathematics. The Bridge game is held between 7.30 am and 7.30 pm everyday. The winners of the Championship will represent the country at the World Bridge Championship. 

MRC Chairman G. Venkatesh, Bridge Federation of India Hon. General Secretary Debashish Ray, Karnataka Bridge Association President Prakash Eshwaran, Secretary Kunal Jaiswal, District Bridge Association President H.N. Jayapal, Secretary Umapathi and Dr. Puttabasappa were present.
