Oxygen Plant to come up at T. Narasipur Hospital: DC

T. Narasipur: Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Bagadi Gautham said that an Oxygen Plant will come up soon at T. Narasipur General Hospital.

Speaking to press persons after visiting the Hospital on Tuesday, Dr. Bagadi Gautham said that the Government has sanctioned the Oxygen Plant to ensure that there is no shortage of the vital gas in the taluk and surrounding areas.

Noting that he has received inputs on the preparations in progress for the Oxygen Plant, he said that he has asked the taluk health authorities to give in writing on what is needed for infrastructure improvement.

Pointing out that he has also directed for ramping up of COVID tests in the taluk, he said that this was necessary to contain the spread of the virus and also bring down positivity and fatality rates.

MLA M. Ashwin Kumar said that the new DC has taken measures for releasing Legislator funds. Maintaining that the taluk authorities have been striving for bringing the deadly pandemic under control, he said that concerted efforts has resulted in the significant decline in positivity rate.
