Paedodontist’s Day Observed

Mysuru: The Department of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, JSS Dental College and Hospital, celebrated Paedodontist’s Day recently as a part of Children’s Day. Various competitions and events were conducted by the Paedodontic team across schools in the city.

The chief guest for the event was Shailaja Guruswamy, Head Mistress, JSS Baljagath, Mysuru, who addressed the gathering and appreciated the effort of the staff of the Department in bringing awareness about oral health among the masses.

Dr. B. Nandlal, Professor, Department of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry and Dr. K.T. Srilatha, the Head of the Department, enlightened the delegates on the significance of Paedodntist’s Day and the importance of preventive aspect of oral diseases.

The winners of contests were awarded and the participation of the students from Sai Ranga School for Hearing and Speech Impaired, Mysuru and JSS Residential School, Suttur, made the celebration a grand success.
